Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa, Hainan, China

The landscape design for Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa is a fusion of modern China, beach resort and nature. The resorts beach front location is taken full advantage of, with groves of coconut palms, fire torches and a dramatic, fun filled swimming pool. Located throughout the resort, at the arrival area, numerous reflective pool courtyards, public landscape areas and private villas are contemporary artwork instillations, sculptures and water feature. Many of these features are in bronze and have been combined with acrylic, to create unique water feature compositions. Nature is the third and very important ingredient in the Anantara Sanya landscape mix, with extensive mature trees and palms planted throughout the resort.
