Capella, Singapore

Capella Singapore is an ultra – luxury resort located on Singapore’s Sentosa Island. Covering a total site area of 12 hectares, the 111-room hotel is set within a lush tropical rainforest environment. The hotel is a blend of old and new, with the contemporary architectural design of Foster + Partners contrasting dramatically with the restored historic Colonial buildings that have existed on site since the 1880’s. Many heritage trees have been carefully retained on site, together with the planting of thousands of new trees, palms and plants. In keeping with the natural tropical rainforest environment of the hotel, the vast majority of newly planted species are indigenous to the area.
