Coopers Hill played a pivotal role in creating the resort’s foundation, from the earliest stages of masterplanning to its opening day.
Situated in Northern Fiji, Laucala Island is a 25-villa resort spanning nearly 3,000 acres of coconut plantations and tropical jungle. Now one of the world’s most exclusive and private retreats, it is owned by the proprietor of the Red Bull brand. Celebrated globally, the preservation and enhancement of the island’s stunning natural environment were key priorities throughout the project.
Blending style with sustainability, the resort incorporates natural fibres and woods into its design, while wild orchids are harvested from its gardens and organic produce is grown on the island’s farms. This commitment to sustainability extends to every aspect of resort living, offering guests not only flavourful, locally sourced cuisine and memorable spa treatments but also a meaningful connection to Fijian culture.
Each villa provides unparalleled privacy and exclusivity, set within its own lush garden. Guests can immerse themselves in the natural surroundings, with opportunities to observe some of the archipelago’s rarest birds and animals.
