Four Seasons Bodrum Resort, Turkey
Landscape Masterplanning / Resort / Beach/Waterside / Mountain/Hillside
A contemporary resort that brings a sophisticated vision of effortless luxury to the shores of the glamorous Turkish Riviera, Coopers Hill was engaged to oversee the project from Masterplanning to Detailed Design.
Located on a remote section of the Bodrum Peninsula, the site presents intrinsic yet challenging terrain. The development of the masterplan was imperative to the success of the resort, ensuring the rugged natural beauty of the site was preserved in the placement of buildings and roads.
The hotel, positioned at the apex of the peninsula, accommodates 125 suites and villas, producing a total key count of 146. From this main arrival and distribution point, the buildings are thoughtfully arranged on the hillside to resemble the layout of an old village, echoing the charm of the traditional towns and fishing villages of this stunning coastal region.
In addition, branded residential units and apartments are positioned in the hills beyond, comprising 71 keys of 4, 5, and 6-bedroom villas with generous landscaped gardens, some offering direct access to the sea via private mooring points. Complementing the residential offering are 32 branded apartment units, alongside non-branded residential units located to the east of the site, near the future marina.
