The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore
Landscape Architecture / Hotel / Heritage / Urban
Originally built in 1928, this iconic post office building opened as the Fullerton Hotel on 1st January 2001. With its unique blend of heritage, sophistication and urban luxury, this national monument is a true Singapore landmark. Coopers Hill’s landscape design for this luxury hotel transformation combined sensitivity and respect for the building’s history, with the adaptive reuse and incorporation of new design features and facilities. From the dramatic, carved granite entry water feature urns, to the central atrium bamboo planters and new swimming pool overlooking the Singapore River, attention to detail was a key part of our design philosophy.
