Chatrium Hotel Yangon is a 5-star city resort located on the western shore of Royal Lake and kandawgyi National Park. Inspired by traditional design and construction, the hotel landscape is punctuated by multi-tiered pagodas with authentic detailing crafted by local artisans. Broad airy verandas and walkways connect gallery-like spaces, and the white walls and multi-tiered roofs are softened by lush foliage. The boundary walls and entry portal were inspired by the Mandalay Royal Palace while the rectilinear pool took reference from traditional Burmese water tanks and textile designs.
