Rivertrees Residences, Singapore

Rivertrees Residences lakeside location offered the rare opportunity to develop the concept of waterfront living in the context of urban Singapore. An important landscape design principle was to create an authentic natural landscape, utilizing as many native plant species as possible and connecting residents to nature and nature to the development. The exceptional site demanded the creation of a strong sense of place and distinct landscape character. The landscape centrepiece of Rivertrees Residences is a large iconic swimming pool, which visually links with Punggol Reservoir, creating the dramatic illusion of water connectivity. Integrated in to the swimming pool design are a number of resort styled facilities, including a 50 meter lap, Jacuzzi pools, floating day beds, interactive water play areas and green roofed poolside pavilions.
