As part of a re-branding process, the brief was to re-design and up-grade the arrival, swimming pool and main public areas of this 273-room resort on Denarau Island and reinstate The Westin as a modern Fijian classic. A new Spa facility was also incorporated into the landscape design. The resorts numerous existing, well-established trees and palms were all carefully incorporated into the new landscape and design inspiration was drawn from traditional Fijian architecture, fire torches and artifacts.
